FOOD DRIVE -  NOVEMBER 2006

Happy Home is sponsoring 5 families for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We need your help! Please donate non-perishable food items that will help these families to have a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner.

Please choose any item from your child's classroom to purchase and drop in the box located in the Shining Star Classroom. The Parent Advisory Committee will present the baskets to our families. The drive kicks off on Nov. 1 and ends on the 17th. Each class will be assigned specific food items to donate. The non-perishables are due by Nov. 17th and the perishables are due on Nov. 21st.

Contents of each basket include:

Shining Star Classroom Parents:
Turkey or voucher (due on 11/17)
Two cans of green beans
Two cans of whole kernel corn

Small Wonders Classroom Parents:
Two cans of Glory greens
Two cans of candied yams
Two cans of jellied cranberry sauce
Two boxes of macaroni and cheese (Deluxe)

Smiling Rainbows Classroom Parents:
Two boxes of stove top stuffing
Two cans of turkey gravy
Two packs of brown and serve rolls (due on 11/17)
Two bags of cookies

Busy Bees Classroom Parents:
Two pre-cooked store bought pies (11/21)
One gallon of non-refrigerated fruit juice
One bag of apples (due on 11/21)
One bag of oranges (due on 11/21)
